The theme for this is Energy. I'm glad that Once again I have been given a theme that is different form the overarching theme that the majority of the pathway subjects follow. It brakes up the work from each other and makes it easer to produce new and different work. I began by making a mined map of ideas of different energy to try to find a starting point. I looked into
Gravitation, Renewable and so on but I settled with spiritual energy. I did this because in my zeen for digital applications I focused more on the negative side of spirituality and so I wanted to look at a more positive interpretation.
I decided to look into the Chakra system for the theme of spiritual energy. this is because of the aesthetic of the seven Chakras themselves. I ended buy looking into the Chakras and what they do.
I found that I the Chakras look like flowers and graphically, the Charkras reminded me I of flowers. When I did some more research I found that this was intentional as the Chakras represent different lotus flowers. I then decided that good graphical way to show flowers and there design is with Spiro-graphs so next week I will experiment with them.
